Low-interest Loan Fund for Private Sector and Non-profit Firms
The Oklahoma Department of Commerce Oklahoma administers a 3%-interest Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Loan Program for private sector and non-profit firms and organizations operating three (3) or more vehicles for purposes of providing a non-governmental service. Primary alternative fuels include compressed natural gas (CNG), and liquid petroleum gas (LPG - propane), but other alternative fuels may be considered. The fund is available for vehicle conversions and for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) alternative fuel vehicles.

Zero-percent (0%) Interest Loan Fund for Government Entities
The Oklahoma Department of Central Services administers a 0%-interest Alternative Fuels Conversion Loan Program for public sector fleets. State and county agencies and divisions, municipalities, school districts, mass transit authorities and public trust authorities are eligible for the loans. Loans may be used to offset the costs of new OEM AFVs, vehicle conversions, and construction of AFV fueling infrastructure.
The state’s Alternative Fuels Conversion Loan program provides up to $10,000 per newly purchased AFV or per vehicle conversion, and up to $300,000 for AFV fueling infrastructure. (Ref. Title 74 O.S. Sections 74-130.1 through 74-130.10)
Alternative fuels as defined in the Alternative Fuels Conversion Act include compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG - propane), ethanol, methanol and M-85 (a mixture of methanol and gasoline containing at least 85 percent methanol), electricity, biodiesel, coal-derived liquid fuels, hydrogen and fuels derived from biological materials.
