Other Grants

Applications from eligible applicants are solicited for ACOG's Public Fleet Conversion Grants on an annual basis. The current FY 2012 cycle began accepting applications August 12, 2011. 

Application Submission Deadline is 4:00 p.m. Central Time Zone, September 23, 2011.

Eligible applicants are Oklahoma City Area Regional Transportation Study member entities and public school districts lying principally within the OCARTS boundaries. Eligible projects include alternative fuel vehicles and commercial mowers, hybrid vehicles, and alternative fuel refueling projects. All projects must demonstrate mobile source emissions reductions.

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality also offers grant funding to qualified school districts through the Clean Diesel School Bus Program. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding may be used for public school bus replacements and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst retrofits.
